Center of Excellence -ELITE level
Please note the ELITE level is for players 12+ years old. Highest Level Elite players are promoted from camps or academy sessions.
Prior Coerver training experience is required or a coach assessment where players can demonstrate all the basic moves (feints, changes of direction, stops/starts, ball mastery exercises). Players at the elite level have attended prior multiple Coerver events and typically play on top level teams in Az.
Coerver® Coaching is about developing soccer players with great skills. At Coerver our mission is to develop players who can combine effectively with teammates and go it alone if necessary! Coerver Arizona's Center of Excellence does this patiently, systematically and in depth over the course of 5 weekly sessions. COE players become different from others their age – most notably in the skill, poise and confidence with which they play. They learn to “use that difference to make a difference” whenever they play. Training is as challenging mentally as it is demanding physically. Programs follow detailed, written lesson plans. Sessions are designed to immerse the most talented players from across AZ clubs in high-level skills training. We encourage risk taking and making mistakes by trying new skills.
The COE program is for ELITE players who have demonstrated ball mastery skills and have aspirations for higher level play. It is an exclusive group of players who play with the best players and challenge each other to go to the next level. Players will come from top clubs across AZ and train together and challenge each other is a healthy competitive environment where risk taking is encouraged and effort rewarded.

Academy is a 5 week session cost at $100 ($20/Session). See below to see where Elite is offered. We will also offer a new Elite level at Rush Sundays 1-2pm key focus on first touch integrating some time on the TOCA touch trainer.

Each session’s warm-up kicks off with footwork exercises to improve foot speed and comfort with the ball. Warm-ups will also focus on some of the dozens of ball moves that we teach at Coerver®.Using those moves becomes a major component in the rest of the session. Different one-on-one games will be used to isolate specific elements of 1v1 play. Then we’ll take one of those games and expand it to 2v2 and 3v3 – but always with an emphasis on the “individual option.” Our mission is for Coerver players to have the skills to combine effectively with teammates or go it alone when necessary.
Academy spots are limited and will sell out!

If a player misses a session they could possibly attend another academy session on Friday evening if there is room available.
